3D technical illustration

At 2cheeseburgers, we can offer a variety of different technical illustration styles to suit all tastes - perhaps a 3D modelled illustration or even a creation in Adobe Photoshop.

The use of technical drawing techniques, traditional drawing board experience and the principles of measured three-point perspective enables us to create photorealistic Photoshop illustrations that simply look "right". It's a unique style that adds value to any creative project. Tremendous accuracy comes as standard for these technical illustrations no matter what drawing application is used. Combine or augment this expertise with the skilled use of 3D modelling software, and we have a powerful technical illustration armoury at our disposal.

The technical illustration samples referred to here were produced using a range of techniques. For example, the black and white turbocharger exploded views were drawn in Adobe Illustrator, from actual objects. In this case, some engineering research and knowledge was required before the illustration was even started.

This "technical comp" was drawn, again, from actual objects, this time directly into Adobe Photoshop. This more complex "FM1500" technical illustration, together with its "sister" machine, were painstakingly drawn from rough, unfinished CAD plans. The conveyor system illustration depicted here was created in 3D modelling software from supplied plans and sketches.
